Manufaturing Engineer
RSI Inc. has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer (ME) in our Kyle, TX facility.
The ME plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. RSI product lines include electromechanical assemblies including computers, displays, routers, switches, and cables and wire harnesses.
Related experience in this area is a plus. Position requires a degree and at least 5 years related experience.
Electrical Engineer
RSI Inc has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer (EE) in our Kyle, TX facility.
The Electrical Engineer provides design and manufacturing support in the creation of Ruggized Products. These products include servers, displays, routers, etc... Key abilities include knowledge of computer industry standards (VME, CPCI, VPX). Familiarity with electronic interconnect products and systems. The right candidate will have a BSEE degree with 5 to 10 years experience.
Other key responsibilities include:
• Preparing RFQ responses for Build To Print orders. This includes BOM cost estimates and identification of tooling.
• Prepare First Article Inspection reports.
• Develop Build To Print: Travelers, Manufacturing Process Instructions, and procedures.
• Follow the FAI products thru the manufacturing build process.
• Maintain scripts for automated test equipment (Cirris Testers).
Requirements:
• BSEE or equivalent required
• 5 to 10 years of previous experience in an aerospace industry design environment and AS9100, ISO 9001-2008
• Hands-on experience with computer industry standards
• Experience with CAD application software
• Detail oriented
• Team oriented
