A
transportable dual frequency (S- and Xband)
radar designed to collect precise
scientific and technical intelligence
(S&TI) data against rest of world (RoW)
medium range ballistic missiles. A
secondary mission is to collect similar
data for United States theater missile
defense systems testing. The radar
system is capable of land based and
sea based operation. The radar's seven
subsystems are housed in 20 foot ISO
containers for ease of shipment aboard
USAF Air Mobility Command transport
aircraft. When sea based, the
containers will be temporarily installed
on board a T-AGOS class U.S. Navy
ship. The prototype system was
developed by MIT/LL.
CRI provided custom
designed rugged SGI O2
workstations for the
collection and processing of
the radar data
System was installed aboard
the USNS Invincible and
Observation Island for sea
and land trials
AHV-1V Land Vibrator and Seismic
Solutions
CRI customer uses the
AHV-1V as a component of a complete
seismic solution in the exploration for
oil and gas on land. Part of the solution
is the need for high performance
computing and data storage in mobile
configurations with limited space.
CRI modified its RS289 I
standard rugged 2U server
to provide a high
performance industrial
motherboard, dual quad
core CPUs and 9 x 2.5” 500
GB SATA HDDs.
